Cagayan Province, home to the Philippines’ largest river system, is frequently visited by typhoons causing floods that threaten the lives, livelihoods, and food-security of locals. Through the DPR Programme, the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) has taken concrete steps to better prepare for and respond to disasters.
